A recent article on GlobalNews.co has highlighted the importance of fire education and safety for children:
Retired firefighter Ed Onishenko, well-known as “Captain Ed“, says parents and schools have an important role to play in educating children about what to do during a fire. He spent 35 years fighting fires and saw tragedies that he says could have been avoided. – Source
This can arguably never be over-emphasized and should be enforced by parents, teachers and those that look after our kids.
Additional resources include: National Fire Protection Association – Safety Information; FireFacts.org and the US Fire Administration. By being prepared, at least the very best that we can be may well make the difference in a potential fire situation.
